We began sandman beds in the year 2001, inspired by our beautiful daughters.
When our eldest daughter needed her first bed we searched everywhere for a bed that was magical along with sturdy, we found nothing that inspired us or our little 2 year old daughter! We decided to combine our design and carpentry skills, from our first sketch the flower bed evolved - our little girl loved her new bed and so did all of her friends!
We began to design more beds, we moved from London, found ourselves a dissused barn on a farm and from there sandman beds began to grow. We are now 10 years on, our daughters are 10 and 12, they continue to inspire us, hence the new day bed range and trundle drawers for sleepovers or extra storage.
We love to make wonderful beds for your little ones, as parents we know how special they are and we hope to be able to share a little of sandman beds with you.
